Performance
Deutschumba is a video-performance which, by using video tutorials aesthetics, proposes a newly methodology to acquire German language knowledge through latin-pop body movements. The audiovisual piece mixes-up
in one choreography moves known by the artist ́s own physicality with some concepts of the language she muss learn in order to better integrate into the society she is currently living.
Featuring herself as Frau Sabato and speaking German as she can, she both guides the video and the audience-open-
participation performance in which she copies the choreography shown in the video.
